English Editor’s Note

The issue of College Magazine “HAYAT-2013” is in your hands after the laps of four

years. It could not be published every year because of certain unavoidable reasons.

It will now be our regular effort to bring out the issue of the Magazine helps to give

an incentive to the hidden qualities of our students. Resultantly, the young scholars

of our college have an opportunity to express themselves. The articles touch a variety

of aspects of human nature, politics, humor etc. They show the creative effort of

the young scholars who will create new ways of life in the practical field instead of

following the false and traditional ways. As GHALIB says:

“MASTANA TAY KROON HOON RAH E WADI E KHAYAL

TA BAZGASHT SEY NA REHY MUD’AA MUJHY”

The practice of writing will also boost up their confidence and moral which,

I believe, are real assets of life. I am thankful to our worthy principal “PROF.SAJJAD

HUSSAIN” and executive body members, who helped us throughout this task.

It incumbent upon me to express my gratitude to the members of editorial board

especially “Chief Editor Muhammad Azam” and whole team of magazine for the toil

with which they completed this task.

I feel greatly honored to be serving as a Deputy Editor for the English
section of “Hayat 2013”.Our seniors took the initiative with the
support of our teachers and then there was a snowball effect .I am
thankful for everyone’s support and contribution especially my friends.
There was a general excitement in being a part of our first ever magazine
and it was a big responsibility. I hope all readers enjoy the magazine
and appreciate everyone’s effort. I pray for the continuation of
this tradition by all future generations……

“This is gonna be a fun filled experience”, was the first thought that
came to mind when applying for the sub-editor’s post in the English
section of “Hayat-2013”.
In order to achieve anything though requires two fundamental ingredients
i.e. hard work and dedication combined with cooperation and
good team spirit. We have finally accomplished our goal of creating the
very first college magazine of NSMC of which I’m privileged to
be a part of.it not only gave an insight about the talents that dwell in the
field of literature, here at NSMC,but also provided me with the prerogative of working
under the indefatigable leadership of some of the most proficient and capable people, in a group
setting. I hope that the following pages draw attention to several significant changes around
NSMC campus as we continue to evolve and grow!

With the first issue of “Hayat” in your hand, the curtain has fallen
upon English section so I would like to express my gratitude to Saad
Rehman(editor English section)---MON SAVIOUR
and rest of the team committed to bring out this section. I for one am
proud to be a part of this team and must tell you that it is not the easiest
of jobs, one that comprise of collection of articles and long enriching
ordeal of editing. During all this, one thing that dawned upon me is
that we have immense potential amongst us in NSMC. So folks
we have put our hearts into this section. Happy reading!

When it comes to express
my views on the experience
for working on this
pioneer magazine, I,
as the editorial board
member, know that this
magazine is designed
not only to be read but
also to be “absorbed”.
From working under
the peerless supervision of Azam Bhai to being
directed by Saad bhai and senior members
of editorial board on how to beat getting the material
out of the hostel rooms :) and how to edit,
it was altogether an inestimable and a treasured
experience...! So guys read and be appreciative
where it deserves to be...! :)
