It gives me a great pleasure writing this message for the very

first literary magazine of Nawaz Sharif Medical College“HAYAT

2013” by puissant minds.It reflects the intellect expression and

creative potential of the students. The quality of articles in

the magazine clearly reflects that like academics our students

have proved their worth in extracurricular activities as well.

At NSMC we believe in the holistic development and growth

of all students entrusted to our care. For this to happen our

college offers various opportunities for learning outside the

traditional classroom setting. Students are permitted to display

and excel in their hidden talent like drama, sports and other

serving societies. Involvement in such co-curricular activities

allows students to grow in social skills, emotional stability and

practice group dynamics. These are skills they will need to be

successful in life.

My message to the students of NSMC is that as you have joined

this noble profession and your parents and teacher are looking

forward to see you successful in yoking your responsibilities.

Let it not be said that you did not prove equal to the task.

The editors of the board deserve a special appreciation who have

put in enthusiastic efforts to bring out “HAYAT-2013” and set a

new tradition. I would like to express my personal gratitude and

compliments to faculty members who inspired the students to

fire their imagination. May you prosper and touch new horizon

of success in pursuit of service to humanity.
