NSMC Students Tour to GIKI CHEMBUZZ

                      

It was in the first week of May when I got to see a pamphlet circulating on my Facebook timeline. Habib Rai was promoting the very first tour to an institution about which we have only heard from people or through electronic media. But now we were getting a chance to not only go to the place and discover it but represent our institution there. At first I found it so odd that why should I go to the CHEMBUZZ  , to a Non Medical place means it was not in sync but then my curiosity got better of me. I decided to go with my other college fellows just not only to represent but also endeavoring to revive such trends in NSMC.

A group of 32 people from different sessions embarked on this journey. Singing and chit chatting  on the way towards the Swabi , a place I was at least hearing for the very first time and everyone had glimmering and unflinching hopes regarding the tour success and different plans were going in their minds but during all this we reached Islamabad from where the Giki bus picked us at the very rendezvous point. The buses were rich in ambience and milieu. After 2 hours our convoy along with many other teams reached the prestigious university where people were standing to give us warm welcome. They provided us with the rooms to rest and food to fill our bellies. And then the fun started.

Lore explore was our very first task where they gave us the 40 questions to be explored all through the campus and Alhumdulilah many of our teams ended up runner ups. On the 2^ndday, our ambassador had instructed us to perform well in the quiz and buzzer round. This round was replete with all of juicy knowledge and many of our teams put a great performance there and then at the end of our hectic day they invited us to watch the literary contents and dramas and different renditions filled with new exquisite taste and this thing made my day. On the day of departure, we attended the closing ceremony where we managed to clench the three awards which are best ambassador, winners of quiz and best university. For me it was a moment of pride getting the award of best university as the NSMC called. After that we were given the certificates which were nothing but a token of love and appreciation. Our hearts were heavy and drenched with melancholy but we did say Good bye to not only the university but to all the people with whom we got chance to mélange with and showed them the astute and what they called us nothing but luminaries in years to come. If I say it was an epoch making and surrealistic tour then it would be kind of fair and just.
